#Chibok: FG Rejects Boko Haram’s Proposal

The Nigerian Federal Government has rejected Boko Haram's proposal to negotiate a release exchange  the kidnapped Chibok girls and Boko Haram,s member in custody. Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau made the demands in a video released this morning showing the kidnapped girl


Abba Moro, the Interior Minister, IN an interview with AFP said the issue in question is not about Boko Haram giving conditions.

While speaking at a press conference of security heads and other stakeholders following the release of the Boko Haram video, the DG of the National Orientation Agency, Mike Omeri, said the Federal Government will explore every other available options in their quest to rescue the kidnapped girls but would not be negotiating with terrorists.

"All options are on the table and open, we are interacting with the military and intelligent experts who are already on surveillance in the North Eastern part of the country. We will adopt all available options to get the girls out, but we will not negotiate with the sect"
